Canopy Cancer Care Epsom

P6 is thrilled to be working with CCC for the sixth time for the refurbishment of one of their larger clinics in New Zealand. Canopy Cancer Care, renowned for their provision of private cancer care services across New Zealand, our recent project involved designing and outfitting their Epsom branch. With a commitment to personalised care plans and maintaining the highest standards of medical attention for their adult cancer patients, we sought to infuse elements of Art Deco influence into our design to respect the era of the existing building.

Our aim was to blend contemporary elements with luxurious comfort, creating a space that revolves around patient care while paying homage to the timeless elegance of Art Deco aesthetics. Incorporating uplifting artwork and a calming green colour palette inspired by nature, we cultivated an atmosphere that promotes relaxation, enabling us to deliver compassionate medical care in an environment conducive to healing.

Embracing a holistic approach to nurturing environments, encompassing both spatial planning and finishes, our waiting and reception areas resemble opulent hotel lobbies rather than traditional hospital settings. Here, various seating options and spaces for both solitude and social interaction within a comfortable setting are seamlessly integrated.

We understand the importance of creating a comforting environment for cancer patients, and we believe that comfortable surroundings, coupled with Art Deco charm, help alleviate stress and anxiety, fostering a serene atmosphere that supports patients throughout their journey.
